The full moon rising between the Poolbeg Chimneys in Dublin after breaking through the cloud.

Full Moon Between the Poolbeg Chimneys

The December wind along Sandymount Strand was biting and the weather forecast in Dublin was not favourable, the clouds were thick as I tried to track the full moon rising behind the Poolbeg Chimneys.

A shaft of light appeared while some small breaks in the cloud moved in from the west, I got into position and set my camera as the sky cracked behind the chimneys for a few moments, the whispy cloud defused the full moon perfectly for a few seconds and then it was gone, but the moment from December 2019 is captured forever in this picture.
