Sunrise at the Poolbeg Chimneys Print

It took some time to find the right conditions after the Poolbeg Chimneys were repainted. The wind had dropped, the sun was rising and the tide was slowly retreating across Sandymount Strand.

The slight movement on the water, and the ripples of the outgoing tide, caught the reflections of the newly painted chimneys beneath a calm morning sky as the clouds drifted slowly overhead.
