Poolbeg Moon

Taken more than 12 years after my original Poolbeg Chimneys full moon photograph, this image captures the scene in its simplest form.

A golden full moon rises between the two red-and-white chimneys against a deep blue twilight sky in early February, creating a clean, balanced composition.

The simplicity is what makes this image work. There are no distractions, just the moon framed between two of Dublin's most recognisable landmarks.

Available as a photographic print, Poolbeg Moon brings a distinctive view of Dublin Bay to your wall.
