Poolbeg Reflections

Poolbeg Reflections captures the iconic red-and-white Poolbeg Chimneys mirrored in the still waters of Sandymount Strand on a beautiful sunny day. With clear blue skies above and not a whisper of a breeze, the water was nearly motionless, creating a remarkably clear reflection of the chimneys along the Dublin coastline.

The simplicity of the scene, with the blue sky, calm water and landmark chimneys mirrored below, gives the photograph its character. It's a view of Dublin Bay that feels quite different when the conditions come together like this.
