Poolbeg Lighthouse - Lightning Print
Looking out from Sandymount Strand, the sky came alive in a single blinding flash. A jagged bolt of lightning tore across the darkness above Dublin Bay, illuminating the iconic red Poolbeg Lighthouse and the distant Baily Lighthouse on Howth Head.
The Irish Sea stretched out like a sheet of navy glass beneath the storm, creating a striking contrast between the calm water and the raw power unfolding overhead.
This was not a night for staying indoors. After a spectacular sunset, thunderstorms had been building over the Irish Sea for hours. When this strike finally arrived, it stretched across the entire frame, creating a rare moment where two of Dublin's most recognisable lighthouses shared the same dramatic sky.
